I’m Leigh, a Holistic Wellness Coach with a deep passion for helping people reconnect with themselves and restore balance in their lives. For years, I lived in a state of disconnection—disconnected from my mind, my body, and my true self. I was overwhelmed by feelings of dissatisfaction and disappointment, stuck in a routine that felt impossible to break, unsure if real happiness was even within reach. My physical health had deteriorated, leaving me struggling with weight and a host of health issues. Emotionally, I was in a dark place, filled with self-doubt and a constant sense of not being enough. I thought that if I just worked harder or achieved more, I’d find the happiness I was searching for—but that only led me further from the truth.
In my quest for fulfillment, I threw myself into my career, believing that external success would fill the emptiness I felt inside. But no matter how much I accomplished, it never seemed to be enough. While I focused all my energy on work, I neglected the most important things in my life—my health, my relationships, and my own well-being. It was an endless cycle of burnout and frustration.
I tried to make changes. Believe me, I tried. I went on restrictive diets that left me feeling deprived, signed up for gym memberships that I never used, and filled my shelves with self-help books that promised quick fixes but never delivered. I kept hoping that something—anything—would click. But every attempt ended in disappointment, leaving me feeling more defeated than before. I understand how overwhelming and disheartening it can be when it feels like nothing is working, no matter how hard you try.
Eventually, I reached a moment where the exhaustion, lack of fulfillment, and disconnect were too much to ignore. But it wasn’t just about hitting my limit—it was the powerful realization that I deserved more. This time, I knew that change had to be different. I couldn’t just focus on one piece of the puzzle anymore. If I wanted real, lasting transformation, I needed to address the whole picture.
So I embraced a holistic approach—and that changed everything. For the first time, I wasn’t just fixing symptoms—I was creating deep, lasting alignment in evert area of my life.
I started small. Five minutes of mindfulness here. A few moments of deep breathing there. I began to see that the way I treated myself—my body, my thoughts, my emotions—wasn’t about punishment or perfection; it was about healing and self-love. I learned to nourish my body with foods that made me feel good instead of restricted. I rediscovered the joy of movement, not as a chore but as a way to reconnect with my body. I worked on my mindset, letting go of limiting beliefs and embracing the idea that I was worthy of the changes I was making.
Slowly but surely, things began to shift. The weight didn’t just come off physically—I also shed the emotional weight I had been carrying for years. My body healed, my energy returned, and most importantly, I reconnected with the person I had lost along the way—my true self.
This journey of holistic wellness brought me back to life, and it’s the very foundation of the work I do now with my clients.
